It is Redisand’s belief that by implementing our initiatives and understanding our environmental management obligations, along with careful planning and processing, we are able to undertake works in the most ecological way practical.

The overall design of the plant enables recirculating water to be recycled through precise engineering. This allows for efficient conservation of water.

Redisand is taking reasonable and practical measures to minimise unreasonable noise from its activities on the site. We provide a monitoring and response strategy such that adverse impacts to the environment caused by noise from the quarry extraction operations are minimised. Strict protocols for dust management are enforced to control air quality. Weekly inspections of the surface water controls are undertaken. Mitigation measures reported in the Environmental Assessment in respect of vegetation, habitat and biodiversity management are planned, implemented and managed appropriately. All employees, contractors and utility staff working on site undergo Aboriginal Heritage Awareness Induction Training. Effective traffic controls are implemented for managing traffic entering/exiting the site.
